New Issue of Matters of Health Coming Soon

5 December 2016

CW Publishing Group collaborates with the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) on a health and wellness information resource for patients of community pharmacies that allows pharmacists to advance health conversations with their patients.

CWPG partners with NCPA to produce a biannual print and digital magazine for consumers called Matters of Health. CWPG prints approximately 500,000 copies of each issue for NCPA pharmacy members to distribute to their patients at community pharmacies across the country.

“Community pharmacists are among the most accessible health care providers, providing services such as medication management, education and counseling, immunizations, and more, particularly in rural areas and medically underserved urban areas,” said former NCPA President John T. Sherrer, RPh, co-owner of Kenmar Pharmacy and Poole’s Pharmacy in Marietta, Ga, and a partner in several other Georgia pharmacies. “Matters of Health reinforces our commitment to driving better health outcomes for patients through education and dialogue. NCPA is pleased to offer this benefit at no cost to our members to help them continue important health conversations with their patients and promote healthy living and well-being.”

“We are pleased to partner with the NCPA to produce an educational health and wellness title that benefits families across America”, said CW Publishing Group CEO Dean Citroen.

The magazine will cover topics such as coping with chronic conditions, managing heart disease, preserving one’s memory, taking steps to a healthier lifestyle, and managing medications. The first issue will be released this autumn.

“We are an award-winning, media and marketing company, assisting our clients to build brand loyalty, retain customers and acquire new business.”
