Heart Health Matters: Your Guide to Heart-Healthy Living
Heart Health Matters: Your Guide to Heart-Healthy Living is an initiative brought to consumers nationwide who have or are at risk for cardiovascular disease. In addition to the print edition, which is distributed through the offices of cardiologists, digital versions of the publication are hosted on www.cwpg.com and emailed to patients who have requested information on cardiac health.
Heart Health Matters is distributed through the offices of cardiologists across America beginning in February, which is Heart Health Month.
Approximately 82 million Americans have some form of heart or cardiovascular disease, and each year more than 630,000 Americans die of heart disease, making it the number-one cause of death for both men and women in the U.S. Some conditions as well as lifestyle factors can put people at a higher risk for developing heart disease. The good news is that everyone can take steps to reduce their risk of heart disease and heart attacks by addressing such risk factors.
Heart Health Matters educates a consumer audience on heart disease — including how to prevent and manage risk factors with a heart-healthy lifestyle. The magazine features editorial on heart health and heart-healthy living to educate and empower individuals on how best to manage cardiovascular disease.
